Research context:  Tibetan Book of the Dead, Egyptian Book of the Dead, and various myths and stories of Day of the Dead celebrations amongst many cultures.  By way of abstract sights and sounds the artist provides glimpses what she imagines the sights and sounds of human death experience at various stages or levels such as the peeling away of time and light.
