Project Description

As an alternative to the drawing tool, the area I would like to explore in application to this class is the field of visual analytics – analytical reasoning through interactive visual interfaces – in the scope of business settings.

As my programming skills are extremely basic, I will attempt to create a scatterplot data representation. One of my data interests are in land valuations, and so I would like to take a basic data set of residential land valuation from sources such as BC Assessments, or MLS and develop a set of metrics for measuring home value. These values could include aggregating data on (1) home price, (2) age of home, (3) square footage, (4) location (city).
